Oh, this is golden! Apparently posting something negative regarding Tokio Hotel is a surefire way of attracting a frenzied, pissed off teenage mob of Tokio Hotel fans to your blog. A fanbase with the spelling capabilities of a 4 year old and the mental equivalent of a carrot, mind you. So just to give them some extra work: Tokio Hotel sucks and Bill’s gay. Please, stop calling the lead singer’s look a style
and let the kid come out of the closet already! On a side note: I wonder how much their baby teeth will go for on Ebay once they start losing them? *grin*

Ok, A lot of TH haters and lovers. Im not a fan of em honest to God, i was just surfin for em today. Tell you the reason soon enough. Now i dont give a shit about Girl-guy’s appearance just the music. Question for the lovers, actaully ask urself: what’s so great about TH’s music? dont get me wrong, the genre they play in is my favorite but TH’s performance itself…. what is so great about it? i was surfin for em today because i heard that they were 1 of Germanies greatest or something in that direction and i was curious. when i was listening to their songs i was pretty much disappointed. they have cool beats, and intruiging melodies BUT, they have absolutely no feeling. they cant make a person believe what they are “saying” so to speak, with their songs. yeah for a teenager, anything goth speaks to em but as an artist, i dont feel what they sell. even if i try my very hardest. the song: Monsoon, one of the nicest melodies i’ve heard but when it comes to feeling:
1- lyrics are all too metaphorical, based on no lyrical or poetical principle. you actually have to study for this or just be a great talent. they work with a beginners It-sounds-about-right method. they say nice things occasionally but in no relation to the other lyrics.
2- the band isnt in synch with eachother. only in monsoon so far have they played in synch. in other songs they fall to the background too much because of complex compostures in the instrumentals. the second voice has been done well though.
3- they have no calling card as individual artists. what specialty does the drummer have, the singer or the lead guitar and rythem guitar? thats a vital role in music, neccesity for climaxes for instance.
i took the time of analizing their music and i have to say, they are on the right path but barely started the first step. they’re not worth any attention yet. live they performe a bit worse im sad to report. they actually play the songs on lower notes cuz girly-guy (dont know his name) cant do the originals. why, this is so, still surprises me cuz the songs themselves arent that hard.
now this is what i have deducted from their live and studio performances. truly disappointing im afraid. Its definately a band teenagers alone would be interested in. What’s the fuss? im out

I had a déjà-vu like the song from Crazy Frog… Something like “how is this possible that people buy this crap!”
Just listen to how he “sings” the word monsoon in the song Monsoon. His voice just can’t sing it properly. You hear Mon-soon (“soon” is sounding a lot lower/deeper then moon) which is just hideous and awful to listen to! Sorry guys keep practising, your getting a lot more credit then you guys are worth!
And stop behaving like you’re the fricking Foo Fighters or something like that, what an attitude… you have 1 album which you did not even produced yourselves. ROFL you even have bodyguyards LOL; what’s that about? Afraid some 12 year will ask you to sign his pencilcase!
Stop pretending like you’re all that I even doubt they will be able to make another album that hits the charts!
Another Milli Vanilli or Babylon Zoo IMHO, we will probably never hear from them again in a few years! But at least he does try to “sing” his own songs! There fans seem to be people that prefer “looks” apposed to “content or ability”!

Personally, I like Tokio Hotel. Bashing them online doesn’t bother me at all, and shouldn’t bother other people, but I must ask, how do you know that I have the mental equivalent of a carrot? Also, I think I spelt all of the words I used correctly and as for having the spelling capabilities of a 4 year old, please check over what I have written and then tell a four year old to write. First off, let me say that I think this is unbelievably funny. I am a HUGE fan of Tokio Hotel, and I still find it funny. I think people should stop taking other people’s opinions so seriously =D
Second, does anyone really care whether or not any of them are gay?? I don’t know what other people think, but even if he WAS gay, I’d still be a fan!! :)

I personally like Tokio Hotel, but, I’m embarrassed to admit, most of these comments are only proving the poster’s point.
I understand that some people who don’t speak English as their native language might not be able to get all the grammar correct, but the very /content/ of most of these comments is childish and annoying. Maybe hold back on all those exclamation points…? Just a suggestion.
As for the comments on Bill: yes, his look is definitely cliched and “emo”. Yes, his face is feminine. So? He’s pretty, and charismatic. I can’t say I /know/ if he’s gay or not, but even if he is, so what?
I like Bill’s voice. So sue me. But I’ll admit that most of their songs are cliched… which is why I prefer listening to them in German [I can’t understand as much ^^]. They’re not as amazing as all the obsessive fan girls claim, but they’re still fun to listen to.

“Sh*% Sandwich”??? Classic… I think this fits nicely with Tokio Hotels trite nonsense cutting the heart out of musics cutting edge…
We’ve shared the same stage with handfuls of “bands” just like Tokio Hotel without substance or the ability to craft a song that hasn’t come off a conveyor belt at a major.
Not one of those bands are even together today let alone performing… I’ll give these girls, sorry, kiddies

I totally agree with this. Seriously, their music is awful. It sounds like all the other EMO crap that is polluting the radio airwaves. The lead singers “style” is not unique in any way, shape, or form. He looks like a Disney creation, which is sad, because most Disney movies contain more artistic talent and entertainment than the entire “band.” I recently listened to one of their songs; I think it’s called Ready Steady Go, and I wanted to vomit. The kids singing is repulsive. He/She/It sounds like an 11 year old girl. In addition, he has a disturbing resemblence to Michael Jackson. We can expect that someday, he too, will be spending time at Neverland Ranch. I would also REALLY like to thank those idiots who contradicted themselves. WHO THE FUCK gave you the right to tell us to shut up? We are all entitled to our own opinions, and no way IN HELL, are we going to stop expressing those opinions anytime soon. For one thing, alot of their fans are from European countires, so it is just easier for them to use abbreviations when trying to speak English. Just because you don’t like a certain band, or a certain genre of music, doesn’t mean that everyone else feels the same. Tokio Hotel are actually one of those bands that don’t need to use technology to make their music sound better because they really do have tallent.
And scince when does Bills sexuality come into the matter? Bill and Tom are both straight, and just because they have feminen features doesn’t mean thet they’re women. Anyway, If you can’t tell the difference between a man and a women, How can you be sure of your own gender?

Boseau, you should heed your own advice. Not only did you incorrectly spell the word “utterly” (you spelled it “uterly”), you also spelled the word “monsoon” wrong (you spelled it “monsson”), and in the phrase “Word of advice”, you spelled “advice” (which is a noun) as “advise” (which is a verb). You also used the word “then” (an adverb) in the place of “than” (a conjunction). As well, you used the word “your” (a pronoun) in the place of “you’re” (a contraction of the words “you” and “are”). The latter is a big peeve of mine. People really need to learn the difference between “your” and “you’re”. Really, how hard is it to figure it out? Isn’t everything here information that we all learned in grade school?
There are so many issues with your entry that I don’t have time to discuss them all. Would ten more years of school will help you with your grammar?
It doesn’t feel so good to be told to use proper grammar when you don’t use it yourself, does it? Perhaps you’ll think twice before you judge others on their spelling and grammar.

Bands like this are why I’m glad I grew up in the Nirvana generation. I heard this band play on Late Night with Conan O’brien tonight and was embarrassed that Conan had to shake their hands afterward. They all wear clothes you can buy at Hot Topic and their songs are truly forgettable. Conan is in a 17-35 year old demographic and I couldn’t see anyone over 14 years old taking this band seriously. They are a true testament to the fact that with enough money, you could sell people a steaming piece of dog turd on a stick and get them to say they liked it after they bought it.

first off i would like to say that though tokio hotel is one of my favourite bands it doesn’t upset me to see them bashed. quite frankly a lot of the things i enjoy are insulted along with my beliefs so to me it doesn’t matter. people have a right to their opinion whether it’s tokio hotel rock(i think they totally do) or tokio hotel suck. but to waste your time posting it just for the sake of angering their fans is an entirely different matter. in my opinion that is childishly immature and uncalled for. i mean whoever wrote this is accusing their fans of having ‘minds of carrots’. really? now if you’re stooping to this level how smart are you? there is no need to insult people because of their musical tastes.
secondly as for tokio hotel’s talent and musical ability that can be subjective. people that detest the genre are likely to detest the music and call them untalented. i personally find them to be very talented and i don’t think their songs lack soul(their english songs however are less emotion envoking than their german ones). also keep in mind that everyone in the band ranges from 18-21. for that age they are uber talented and i believe they will improve in the years to come, just give them time. also most of you ‘critics’ are judging their english album and english songs. keep in mind that german is their mother tongue thusly Bill’s german songs are better written and deeper than the english versions. but overall i think they are GREAT and i don’t really care what anyone else thinks of them. people like what they like and that’s all there is to it.
Thirdly everyone seems to be hung up on Bill’s appearance. What, are you all that close minded? appearance doesn’t matter, the only thing that counts is their music, and tokio hotel’s music rocks. Also, i don’t understand how Bill’s clothing, hair, and make up is not a style? please someone explain this because it makes no sense. of course it’s a style. everyone on the planet has a ‘style’ unless they walk around naked (perhaps you should think your statements through before you write them). Also since when does looking a little bit feminine mean your gay? of course it doesn’t. Bill has repeated over and over that he is not gay. we should believe him already. and even if for some reason he’s lying and he is gay does it matter? does being gay somehow make you lose your ability to sing? the sole purpose of a band is to put out quality music and tokio hotel do that. it doesn’t matter what the members look like or if one of them is gay (and i don’t think he is since he’s only said he wasn’t like a million times). people really need to stop being so superficial and judgmental.
lastly, people really have to stop trying to purposely anger each other. i ask you person that wrote this article, what do you get out of this? why do you waste your time talking about a band you clearly don’t like? is it possibly becuase you have no life?(speaking of which, i have to wrap this up becuase probably unlike the person who wrote this article i have a life to get back to)really, you don’t like tokio hotel and other people do, is that so horrible? can you not deal with the fact that tokio hotel has fans? you DON’T have to like them, no one is making you. you can slander them all you want but is it really neccessary to insult the fans and try to rile them up? that is just uncalled for.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, you guys! People can hate TH or love them. While I don’t understand why people write about things they hate, they’re still entitled to do so. (At least you, Blaziken, tried to listen to them… I hate people who base their opinions on bands based on looks… >.<)
And if TH doesn’t care about the haters, why should us fans care? ^_^ Instead of posting here, you guys, why don’t TH lovers vote for them on sites like Musiqtone or PortraitMag? Do something productive for TH. There will always be haters, so there’s nothing we can do there! :)

These fangirls of tokio blowtel are just funny. You dont like them because of their music you like tokio blowtel because of that hermampherdite named bill. You think it(Not he) is hot. As for saying their music is good it isnt. It is bland boring and uninspired. The lead singer is annoying and they suck live. They dont put any emotion in their concerts.
